CRELM®

Modified-release vitamin C for up to 24 hours of protection against oxidative stress.

This technology, developed by IP Ingredients, is based on the “RELM” system and is designed to enable a prolonged and controlled release of vitamin C over the 24 hours following intake, thereby supporting ongoing protection against oxidative stress.

Exclusive controlled-release technology

The RELM technology behind CRELM® consists of a dual-layer granular system featuring:

  • A vitamin C core
    • A first coating of hydroxypropyl methylcellulose and gum arabic
    • A second coating made from a combination of citrus fibre and cellulose

The total vitamin C content is 70%.

Benefits

Vitamin C belongs to the group of water-soluble vitamins, which, as such, cannot be stored in the body and must therefore be regularly obtained through the diet.

CRELM® has been developed to provide a targeted response to:

• the natural and rapid loss of vitamin C through urine and sweating, which occurs within a few hours of intake
• deficiencies that may arise at any stage of life, for example, during recovery or due to poor dietary habits
• increased requirements, such as during intense physical activity or prolonged periods of physical and mental stress.

Once activated, CRELM® provides a continuous supply of vitamin C for up to 24 hours, optimising absorption and helping to maintain stable levels in the body.

CRELM® overcomes the limitations of conventional formulations, which are only partially absorbed and rapidly eliminated.

As the vitamin C in CRELM® is encapsulated within granules, it is gentler on the stomach.
