FERRELM®
Extended release iron technology designed to ensure the controlled release of iron, an element contained in the heme group and essential for the formation of red blood cells and proper tissue oxygenation.
FERRELM’s gradual release of iron overcomes the normal limitations of products containing this ion, including the metallic taste and digestive difficulties associated with its intake.
FERRELM® is characterized by its unique double granular formulation.
- An inner core, containing 50% of total iron in the following organic form: Gluconate, Fumarate, Bisglycinate.
- This core is coated with a first layer of soluble fiber, followed by a second layer of insoluble fiber containing an additional 50% of iron as Fumarate.
- The total iron concentration is 10%.
This structure enables a dual effect: an immediate release of a part of iron, followed by a controlled release of the ion contained in the inner core.
FERRELM delivers an initial rapid release of approximately 50% of iron charged, followed by a gradual release that reaches nearly 100% after 24 hours.
